Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Sender account info — your email address and the display name you choose when you sign up. We use Supabase Auth to manage accounts.
• Recipient contact details — when you send, you may enter a recipient name, email address, and/or phone number. We use these only to deliver that single gesture.
• Delivery records — we store the gesture sent, your optional note, whether you signed it or stayed anonymous, and when the link was opened.
• Payment info — credit pack purchases are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we only store your credit balance.

Text messages (SMS)

We only send text messages to phone numbers whose owner has opted in themselves. You can opt in on our text updates page or on any greeting page by entering your own number and checking the consent box, or by texting START or SHHH to our number. Once opted in, we text you only when someone sends you a shhh…. Message frequency varies. Messages are sent through Twilio.

Opt out. You can reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Replying HELP returns support information. Message and data rates may apply.

How we use it

• To deliver the gesture you sent.
• To show senders their own shelf of sent gestures.
• To credit your account after a purchase.
• To troubleshoot delivery failures.

We do not sell your information or use it to build advertising profiles. We do not send marketing emails.

Your notes

Any personal note you write is visible only to the recipient who opens the link. It is never shown in share cards, on your shelf, or to anyone else.

Data retention

Delivery records are kept so senders can view their shelf and so links remain openable. You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.

Children

Shhh… is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
